"XXX recently debuted its all-new water-cooled charge air cooler on the XXX pickup truck"
What I understood is that a "charge air cooler" is an intercooler, a cooling system for the engine. I have thus translated as:
"système de refroidissement"
"water-cooled charge air cooler" --> "système de refroidissement à air"
Anyone familiar with these terms, please kindly let me know if this translation is correct or not.

Le principe de l’intercooler AIR/EAU est de refroidir l’air d’admission en le faisant passer dans un échangeur à l’intérieur duquel circule un liquide de refroidissement.
Ce liquide est refroidi par un radiateur muni d’un ventilateur, le circuit se faisant avec une pompe électrique.
Ce principe est le plus efficace, il permet de refroidir rapidement l’air juste avant de l’injecter dans les cylindres. Il a en plus l’avantage de réduire la longueur du circuit d’admission et donc d’apporter un temps de réponse du turbo très court.
Le branchement est des plus simples puisque l’échangeur sera placé directement entre le turbo et la pipe d’admission (généralement trois coudes suffisent).
Le circuit de refroidissement (radiateur et ventilateur) peut être monté dans la calandre, sous le capot avec une écope ou bien pour les véhicules prototypes, derrière la cabine.
La puissance ainsi gagnée est significative mais ne peut être chiffrée avant montage, chaque moteur réagissant différemment."
