branchement par fils volants
Explanation:
I am making the assumption that 'blind lead' means the same in AE as 'flying lead' in BE.

Although I remain very sceptical, I have found a surprising number of refs. on the 'Net for 'câble / fil volant', so have to assume it is perhaps correct, despite my reservations (too direct a calque on the EN?)

bride aveugle

Explanation:
Après recherche sur les actuateurs / actionneurs de valves, il semble qu'ils comportent une "bride aveugle".

Example sentence(s):
  • Enlever les vis et la bride aveugle, puis le joint.

disagree  Tony M: That would be the noun 'a blind'; here, it is an adjective qualifiying 'connection' (or actually, probably 'leads'...) / Your ref. refers to a 'blind flange' (a sort of blanking plate), which has nothing to do with any sort of cables or wires.

  -> No no, it is an adj., qualifying "leads". Why do you say it would be a noun? Anyway, since "une bride" can be a lead or a group of leads, "bride aveugle" can clearly mean "a blind group of leads" or "a group of blind leads".

neutral  Tony M: I agree totally with your reasoning, but here I think 'connection' means « façon de brancher » rather than referring to the actual connector itself...
