I think it probably depends if there are 2 (or more) single wires, or a cable containing several wires? 'Lead' can mean either in EN, though as you have the plural here, I imagine it is probably the former: 2 or more single wires?

The problem is, the use of 'blind' like this is unusual; it could simply be a non-native speaker's attempt at rendering a quite different idea; or then again, if the EN is reliable, it may have some special significance.
I strongly suspect they actually mean 'flying leads' — i.e. the wires are captive within the unit and have to be connected externally; no only would this be quite usual for this type of device, it also corresponds exactly with what you describe. But I am certainly not familiar with the use of 'blind' to describe this situation!
So before struggling to come up with a translation, we perhaps need to establish first exactly what the source text was intended to mean!
I take back come of the foregoing: F-X F has found a solid (but I suspect US) ref., which makes me think this is perhaps simply an AE usage unfamilair to me as a Brit.
