Unfortunately, your ref. proves exactly the opposite!
They are talking about sleeves AND raccords, as evidenced by the first two items under ASF-2318 — these are not sleeves for fittings, and your ref. just happens to specify that in this particular case, it does indeed involve 'raccords à bagues' — otherwise, the collocation is purely fortuitous.
Note that in EN the word 'sleeve' usually conveys the definite notion of 'manche' — something longer than its diameter, relatively cylindrical in form; something axially shorter than its diameter is called a 'ring' (cf. 'bague' in FR) |
