"attach a blanking cap and a cap retainer" => ce n'est pas un bouchon qui pénètre dans le mandrin. Ce serait un "plug".

précisément, non, puisqu'il y a un "cap retainer", une fixation. Un plug se met dans le mandrin qui le serre. Pas besoin de retainer .
