Swift messages are transmitted to and from MONTRAN throughout the day, in real time mode. It is the joint responsibility of Systems and Payment Services to insure that all SWIFT messages intended for the payment system are properly received. The SWIFT system, SAA, sends to the payment system all MT 101, 103, 192, 195, 196, 199...denominated in ****US dollars and fx currencies****.
To insure that all messages intended for the payment system are received, we must compare the totals from the two systems.
