how do you understand "adhered to" in this context?
Ethicals funds and the differing investment policies adhered to mean that it is not easy for investors to compare like for like within the sector so it is important to be clear about a fund’s investment strategy.

Les fonds éthiques et les politiques d’investissement différentes auxquelles ils adhèrent signifie qu’il est difficile pour les investisseurs de comparer ce qui peut l’être dans ce secteur. C’est pourquoi il est important d'être clair en matière de stratégie d'investissement de fonds.

le reste du texte semble confirmer que les fonds sélectionnent leurs investissement en fonction d ecritères rigoureux.

dans un premier temps j'avais pensé que les fonds et les politiques s'étaient unis (adhered)...

"like for like" me pose pb également mais fera l'objet d'une autre question..:)
