overnight Explanation: Bonjour Isabelle... just taking a guess here. . commodities, electric power and shares etc can trade overnight i.e when their official market is closed. It is "after hours" trading. Trading parties can use ways such as internet or phone. Off-market sales or direct transfer sales we call them here.
