English term or phrase: a tippy tip
Bonjour,

None of this like ***tippy-tip***, nothing!"

Explanation:
I can't claim to be any expert in this field, but I have a feeling this may be the term used (just the tip, no further...)

For my own edification, do we actually say 'vierge', or does that imply something rather specific, and it ought to be 'puceau'? (a term used by my football mates...!)

Notes to answerer
