Explanation:
Le terme bling-bling est issu du jargon hip-hop et désigne les bijoux et l’accoutrement des rappeurs, mais aussi le style ostentatoire et excessif de leur mode de vie. Je pense que cette description (surtout la dernière partie) correspond assez bien au "Roi soleil", n'est-ce pas?

De toute évidence, "blingking" est un jeu de mot basé sur le terme "blingbling"...:)

agree  Irene Schlotter, Dipl.-Übers.: Good ole Louie liked the 'bling' (shine) of Gold, and apparently also the sound, so that's why. Here it refers to ostentatiousness.
