English term or phrase: Watch it!
Dans une leçon de grammaire, avec exemples de phrases à l'appui, je rencontre souvent l'expression "Watch it". Pour éviter des répétitions du genre: faites attention / prenez garde, etc je souhaite recueillir d'autres versions de la traduction de cette expression, suivie d'un point d'exclamation.

Merci d'avance de vos suggestions.

agree  Colin Rowe: What I would have suggested // After all, "Watch it!" is not exactly what one would expect to find, either.
1 min
  -> Thank you.

neutral  FX Fraipont: I don't think you would find this in a grammar ...
12 mins
  -> It all depends on whom it is aimed at...

neutral  Françoise Vogel: dans une grammaire ? (à moins que ce ne soit dans des dialogues mais ce ne serait peut-être pas utilisé si souvent) // ah bon !
27 mins
  -> Pourquoi pas dans une grammaire pour enfants?

disagree  Veronique Lhuissier: Jamais vu cela dans une grammaire, même pour enfants! C'est du langage parlé, plutôt familier qui n'a rien à faire dans un livre de grammaire.
4 hrs
  -> So is "watch it!" nothing like "watch out!" which is more formal. Are you an expert on "grammaires" and know what's out there?

watch it!
(votre) attention! (svp)

Explanation:
l'attention est demandée de façon impérative. A qui ? Celle du lecteur. Ce qui me conduit à proposer "votre" pour "it". Pour compléter la formule couramment utilisée en français, le "svp" soulignerait le caractère impératif.

Example sentence(s):
  • Votre attention s"il vous plait!
