Bonjour,
Voici le contexte : lors d'une enquête de police, les enquêteurs découvrent que les freins de la voiture d'un homme qui vient de mourir dans un accident avaient été sabotés. L'un des enquêteurs dit alors :"Someone wanted to make sure he didn't get home.". Et l'autre enquêteur de répondre :"Someone wanted to make sure he was dead.". C'est cette tournure du début que je ne sais pas bien comment rendre pour que cela fonctionne dans les deux cas. Merci pour vos idées !
