Hello,
This is part of a geotechnical study for the desing of an open mine.
I know Termium gives the French traduction "fruit" for this, which is the inclinaison given to a retaining wall/a receding slope. However in my context, batter slope is used (or so it seems to me) as a structural element: we are discussing stability in global slopes, inter-ramps slopes and batter slopes.

Also, I very rarely see the term "fruit" in similar documents in French.

ex. "Fresh rock batter slopes can sustain steeper batter angles than batter slopes within the transition rock "

Le fruit est uniquement l'angle de déviation par rapport à la verticale. Il ne désigne pas le talus.
