Explanation:
"Mr X will continue to report to Mr Z" indique que X est rattaché hiérarchiquement à X (ça, c'est de l'organisation classique)
"Mr X is matrixed into Mr Y" explique, dans un jargon épouvantable, que Mr X est en plus rattaché fonctionnellement à l'organisation de Mr Y. Pour la deuxième phrase, encore moins claire, je pense qu'elle signifie "Mr Y conservera, par ailleurs, un rattachement fonctionnel à l'organisation de Mr W".
J'emploie le terme vague d'organisation, mais en pratique ce sera un projet, un produit ou une équipe.
Je pense que ça vaut la peine de demander confirmation au client pour tout ça.
