The traditional expression is "more.. than you can shake a stick at", as noted by this definition in R+C:

a man with more medals than you can shake a stick at > un homme qui avait des tonnes de médailles

It just means 'very many' or 'countless'.

Here, they're obviously changing the metaphor to suit it to the Internet world — though frankly, "shaking a mouse mat" is hardly as strong an image as "shaking a stick"!
