dans un rapport d'une ONG, titre d'un point à aborder, suivi de ces qqs lignes :
When there are many donors in one country giving small amounts of aid, the results might be more negative than positive. One of the questions donors have to ask themselves is, does it all add up to results?
"trop de cuisiniers gâtent la sauce", encore une fois traduction littérale qui n'a aucun sens ici, à mon avis, je laisserais tomber; juste un pléonasme
d'accord avec Myriam, la traduction littéralle de "the more the merrier" est "plus on est de fous, plus on rit"... mais ds ce contexte, dur dur!.... finalement je penche pour la proposition de Bohy: le mieux est l'ennemi du bien; quant à "too many cooks".
Pour NewCal et swanda : comme l'indique Riogirl, c'est le titre d'une partie ayant trait au nombre élevé de donneurs comme étant une bonne chose ("positive" = the more the merrier) ou un problème potentiel (negative = too many cooks?)
