Bonjour, je suis d'accord avec le fait qu'à coup sûr il manque le mot country et que l'on parle ici de pays d'origine. Par contre il me semble qu'on ne peut pas traduire, comme cela a été suggéré, la fin de la phrase par: rentrent dans leurs pays d'origine pour continuer leur études et se marier, car il s'agit d'une liste de facteurs (the major reasons for ... are ...) du type X, Y and Z (qui se traduirait plutôt par X, Y ou Z en français), sans notion de causalité.
Je proposerais donc la traduction suivante:

Pour les stagiaires restants, il y a principalement trois facteurs pouvant expliquer qu'ils n'occupent pas de poste actuellement: ils sont rentrés dans leur pays d’origine, poursuivent leurs études ou bien se sont mariés.
