"This week saw UK stocks track European markets higher after news of... "

Wall Street fonctionne avec 6h de décalage sur les marchés européens. En général ce sont ces derniers qui s'ajustent en cours de journée à l'ouverture de Wall Street. La phrase explique que cette semaine se sont les marchés américains qui ont suivi les européeens et que cela s'est produit à la hausse (Les cours montant en Europe ont causé la hausse de Wall Street).
