"This supports our approach throughout 2010, which assumes there will be largely range-bound markets but where high conviction stock picking – primarily in off-benchmark names – should be the primary source of outperformance. "

"off-benchmark" veut tout simplement dire en dehors de l'indice (de référence)
L'essentiel des investissements est concentré sur des valeurs de grandes capitalisations appartenant à l'indice MSCI EMU. Les éventuelles valeurs hors indice sont exclusivement choisies parmi les actions de la zone euro, majoritairement parmi les grandes et moyennes valeurs.

Explanation:
A benchmark is a series of tests in order to evaluate products among competitors; i'm used to this term in computers... the term "off" seems to implicate extenal companies doing the benchmark.
L'instance externe peut être une société, une association, ou encore une entité gouvernementale...
Ensuite je traduirais "names" par "reconnues"
