English to French translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
English term or phrase: pretermited
The Employee shall also indemnify all direct and immediate material damage and pretermited commission profit and future earnings inflicted on the Employer by the offense.

I have never heard of "pretermited" . This is a Bulgarian contract that was translated into English and now the English is to be translated into French, not the best route to take but... Any ideas what this could mean?

French translation:Profits prédéterminés sur commissions et revenues anticipés
Explanation:
I have a feeling that the word should read predetermined which would then make sense and the translation would be as follows or similar.

You are absolutely right…The English in me came out  Time for bed.

This looks like a letter of employment termination. My understanding is that the employer is protecting himself against a lawsuit by the employee. Meaning that they do not want to pay for future commissions and profits had the employee still been employed by them.

It is hard when you don’t have the full story hope this will help. I am not sure about pre-terminated doesn’t really make sense to me at this time.

Asker: It was my feeling too, glad we share it! Thank you.

Asker: But it should read "revenus" and not "revenues". xx

Asker: I've just read the sentence again and it doesn't really work because of what follows => commission profit and future earnings would not be "inflicted on the Employer by the offense". Unless it was Loss of profits.. Could it be "pre-terminated" ? Would this make any sense?????
