English term or phrase: Warranty and Defects Liability Period

Agreement between two companies for the purchase of shares (XXX buying off YYY). I understand the meaning but can't seem to find a correct way of putting it in French.

The sentence goes: This commitment shall be valid until Substantial Completion and the expiration of the Warranty and Defects Liability Period.

Explanation:
Il semble bien qu'il s'agisse de l'un de ces doublons synonymes si fréquemment utilisés par les anglophones, c.-à-d. deux synonymes typiquement utilisés côte à côte. Il faut alors économiser par l'évidence en français et retenir la seule et même notion désignée par ces 2 termes. En l'occurrence, il s'agit de la période de garantie. (Voir «defects liability period» dans Termium et dans le grand dictionnaire terminologique.)
