.... Pourquoi pas parler de taux d'imposition?
"The multiplier or "poundage rate" is set by central government each financial year for the whole of England and normally changes in line with inflation".

poundage rate = multiplier
Littéralement, on parlerait de multiplicateur.
From 2005/06 there are two multipliers; the standard one for 2008/09 is 46.2 pence in the pound, and the small business multiplier for 2008/09 is 45.8 pence in the pound.
pence in the pound. or, 100p = 1 livre. Autant utiliser des pourcentages?
Ex : For example, if your rateable value is £3500 your bill for 2010 (without any relief) would be calculated as £3500 x 41.4p equalling £1449.00.
Cela revient à 3500 x 41.4 % = 1449. Non? Ok. pardon. just a joke.
Taux d'imposition ou multiplicateur
