Bonjour à toutes et à tous. Le terme disburse me pose problème dans ce contexte, il s'agit des biens d'un héritage qu'un avocat semble distribuer, partager ou attribuer à Mrs X.

Voici la phrase précise :"I am disbursing a portion of the personal property of Mrs. X" Utiliseriez-vous plutôt distibuer (plutôt que décaisser qui me paraît réservé à un autre domaine) ?

Mais il serait intéressant de savoir sur quelle base est faite cette "attribution" car il y aurait peut être alors moyen de trouver un terme plus approprié.

Je pense que dans ce cas là "remettre" est le terme exact dans la mesure où il y a un jugement/ordre du tribunal, et que la personne qui remet doit être un notaire ou quelqu'un ayant pouvoir et autorité pour remettre la part qui revient à ce monsieur, ladite part ne pouvant pas être arbitrairement attribuée par une quelconque personne n'ayant pas le pouvoir de la faire.
