English term or phrase: material/immaterial violations

Hello everyone,
I am currently translating a kind of code of conduct and a policy regarding the investigation of violations and have problems translating the above expression. I am thinking of 'Infractions principales/Infractions secondaires' as my paragraph deal with two diffrent types of violations but was wondering if more appropriate terms existed. Thanks in advance!

"violation" ou "manquement" me semble préférable à "infraction" dans ce contexte.

material : important, essentiel, sérieux, considérable, significatif, etc.
immaterial : négligeable, sans importance

Asker: Merci ! Je vais tout de même garder le terme 'infraction' plutôt que 'violation' car mon texte traite également des violations au code pouvant également constituer des infractions pénales au vue de la loi. Dans mon texte, les 'material violations' sont indiquées comme étant celles qui ont de graves répercussions ou sont commises par les dirigeants de l'entreprise alors que les immaterial violations sont toutes les autres, de moindre importance je pense.
