Dans la série TV "Living Single", les collocataires de Khadijah lui préparent une surprise pour son anniversaire, elle a les yeux bandés et elles sont en voiture :
- Can I take this thing off? I'm about to lose it, yo.
- Khadijah, it's not the blindfold that's making you sick, it's Max's driving.
- Yeah?
- Yeah.
- Well, why don't you drive?
- No!
- I don't believe you. You crazy.
- Didn't think so.
- All right, that's it. I'm taking this thing off.
- No, no, you're gonna ruin the surprise.
- How about I surprise all y'all and earl right here?
- Oh, don't do that!
and the script says "earl", but I guess it'a way of telling that she's gonna spew... (so, might be "hurl" instead of "earl", yes, thanks for your note)
the only way to be sure is to go back to the transcription tape (unless there is a character named Earl)

Explanation: d'après le reste de la phrase, je le comprends comme une onomatopée représentant le vomissement, puisqu'elle commence à se sentir mal dans la voiture....peut çetre que lq transcription "earl" est approximative?
En tous cas je ne vois pas ce que le pauvre Earl viendrait faire dans cette histoire....
