concours régional Explanation: A competition held at the level of a [U.S.] state, where players/teams come from all over the state to compete. I would avoid the use of the word "Etat", however, to stay closer to the spirit of the term. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 18 mins (2007-10-27 16:56:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Or it could be an Australian state, but the same applies.
