English term or phrase: 'Desk' Contract Managers

1/ PROJECT/CONTRACT MANAGERS/ESTIMATORS

Voici quelques unes de leurs responsabilités :

• Plan works and prepare cost/estimate in liaison with other Directors/Managers as appropriate
• Liaise with other Directors/Managers as necessary in planning deliverable
• Ensure effective contract review on award of project/contract
• Prepare detailed plan of works, method statements, risk and CoSHH assessments and all required quality and health & safety documents as necessary
• Requesting necessary plant and equipment required for site operations
• Liaison with external authorities/notify works as necessary
• Record and manage project/contract issues and escalate where required
• Manage project/contract scope of works and any change to original requirements
• Monitor project progress and performance of project/contract

In addition to the above (ce que font les 'contracts managers), *‘Desk’ Contract Managers* have the following key responsibilities:

• Planning and allocation of resource
• Programming of works
• Preparing daily ‘whereabouts’
• Day to day resource coordination including site personnel, air analytical requirements and waste removal
• Preparation and maintenance of Site Documentation (Foreman’s Packages)
• Day to day contact with specific project/contract Site Supervisors and Operatives
• Daily collation, analysis and maintenance of information received from returned Foreman’s Packages
• Auditing time sheets
• Escalating project related site issues to relevant Project/Contract Manager
