Explanation:
I think it is important not to lose sight of the element of 'hooking' that is implied (I believe) by the verb 'to engage' here.

I was almost tempted to suggest 'accrocher', but don't know if that could be used in FR in this sort of context; but it is very definitely more go-getting than just a passive 'make contact with' or 'address' or 'target', for example.

"fidéliser" serait trop fort ...On pourrait sortir de la formulation un peu sèche de l'original et utiliser des termes plus délicats tels que " leur fait/ leur permet de découvrir" etc.

Je crois que je me suis trompé , compris "with" comme "avec" au lieu de "par le moyen de" ..." attirer" devrait donc convenir... "accrocher" contient le sens mais le terme est brutal, cynique, ce qui s'accorde mal avec le désir d'une firme d'entretenir sa respectabilté...
