English to French translations [PRO] Science - Mathematics & Statistics / Literary context | | English term or phrase: one-way implication | You can’t get to know someone by shoving a finger up their nose. But if someone shoves their finger up your nose, you learn some things about them. It’s called a **one- way implication**. We studied it in Math.
As you can see, it is used here as a metaphor :)
I found "implication unilatérale", but I'm not sure about it (and don't know much about maths)

J'ai beaucoup hésité entre "unilatérale" et "sans équivalence”, mais dans mon contexte, "unilatérale" me paraît plus parlant.
