Explanation:
Il s'agit d'un composant (ruban ou tresse, etc.) assurant une liaison entre deux brides de raccordement, afin d'avoir une continuité dans une tuyauterie ou les éléments raccordés de part et d'autre. Fort probable.

Pourquoi une continuité? Parce que les deux brides de raccordement sont habituellement séparées par un joint d'étanchéité, qui joue le rôle d'un isolant (électrique par exemple).
