English to French translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / matériel agricole semoir
English term or phrase: cornered
Causing circular movement to four cornered of 24 attached to the automatic mechanism, this half tour carries out its movement up and down by means of course hands of sowing pins.

ce texte est tellement embrouillé qu'il ne semble pas écrit par quelqu'un de langue maternelle!

French translation:(tête) carré(e)
Explanation:
With such a poor source text, it really can be little more than pure guesswork — but my instinct is that it might be (a componenrt that is) four-cornered — potentially 'square', hence 'carré', though this drive system sounds quite complicated, so there may be more to it than meets the eye. It sounds as if this part might be labelled '24' on a drawing somewhere; if you could get hold of that, all might be revealed!

But your best bet really is to go back to the customer for clarification — by the sound of it, of the whole document! Good luck!
