La phrase est la suivante: "The heart is removed from the body by cutting the inferior vena cava just above the diaphragm and lifting it by the apex, reflecting it anterior and cephalad facilitating exposure of the pulmonary veins at their pericardial reflection."

La partie qui me pose problème est "reflecting it anterior and cephalad". J'ai vu dans un glossaire que "cephalad" signifiait "en direction céphalique" mais je n'arrive pas à l'associer avec "reflecting it anterior". Est-ce que je peux traduire par "laisse apparaître la face antérieure en direction céphalique facilitant ainsi..." ? Ou est-ce que je fais fausse route ?
