Une agression dentino-pulpaire provoque une dégénérescence des odontoblastes. Les cellules de Höll se différencient alors en odontoblastes pour former de la dentine réactionnelle.
Quand il y a agression avec effraction pulpaire et coiffage pulpaire, on a une dégénérescence des deux types cellulaires, pourtant il se forme tout de même de la dentine réparatrice.
D’où provient-elle ?
Cette dentine est secrétée par des Odontoblaste-like issus de la différenciation des cellules
souches pulpaires. Des cellules péri vasculaires se multiplient et migrent vers la zone lésée
pour se différencier en odontoblastes.
Donc il existe bien des cellules souches dans la pulpe dentaire."
