the doctor diagnoses a severely bruised eardrum and a sinus infection.

contexte : blessure d'un plongeur. Je cherche un verbe qui pourrait coller dans ce contexte. je pensais à "tympan abîmé" mais ça ne me semble pas idéal. Une suggestion ?
(la place dont je dispose est réduite, ce doit être un verbe relativement court mais suffisament explicite).

  -> Une contusion est une blessure produite par un choc, sans qu'il y ait déchirure de la peau. Ce serait donc possible, non?
