It contains the following information:

Cap: Cemented - Uncemented - Hybrid

I know that the term "inlay" is used as is in the dentistry field but is it also the case here?

neutral  liz askew: interesting, I thought the French would have avoided using an English word. I know "stent" is used, but purists say "endoprothese" ?? Bonne soirée!

Résumé

Les couples de frottement dur-dur peuvent imposer une modularité acétabulaire, pour laquelle le polyéthylène est fréquemment utilisé comme pièce d’interposition (sandwich). Cependant, les différences de module d’élasticité rendent incertaine la fixation de l’insert. Le but de ce travail était de rapporter un cas bilatéral de dessertissage entre l’insert métallique et le sandwich de polyéthylène d’un couple métal-métal. Une arthroplastie bilatérale en deux séances à quatre mois d’intervalle était pratiquée chez une femme de 53ans pour une nécrose après corticothérapie. Les prothèses comportaient un pivot sans
