English term or phrase: Army Separation Center
I do not know how to translate 'Army Separation Center', which comes from a translation on clinical observations for the study of intuition, in the sphere of Transactional Analysis.
It refers to an observation made by the author of this book (Eric Berne, Intuition and Ego States).
He relates what happened to him in the latter part of 1945 at an Army Separation Center as he was taking part to "a medical examination carried out in assembly-line fashion."
...Or is it one of these terms that should be left untranslated with a Translator's note giving more explanation?
Thank you for your kind help.

Thanks go to everyone irrespectively. Honestly I am not sure myself. JL01 made me tip my balance for historical reasons. The thing for me is that it is a military consideration that is not the focus of the book, which is on psychology. For practical reasons I am unable to be 100% certain at the moment. Humbly.

Explanation:

Notes to answerer
