English to French translations [Non-PRO] Art/Literary - Music | | English term or phrase: the soundtrack to Indiana Jones | Phrase: Oscar sits listening to the soundtrack to Indiana Jones and says...
Ma difficulté: le sens de "to" qui précède "Indiana Jones.
La bande sonore ??? |
| | | la b.o. d'Indiana Jones | Explanation: Nothing special about the 'to' here — it's the soundtrack to the film.
Although 'soundtrack' literally means 'bande sonore', yes, it's pretty unlikely he'd be listening to the entire film without watching the pictures (unless his TV is broken!), so it's more likely they mean he's listening to the soundtrack music, i.e. bande originale |
