guy. He has a very cool job. He sells insurance on behalf of “Secure Insurance Solutions”. There are a lot of great things about my dad’s job. Dad’s job has flexible hours, he goes into work by 9:00 and if he is not busy, he’s home by 5:00. The down side is that he takes calls at home and sets night appointments to visit his clients. My dad has a billboard in front of his office with is photo on it, anyone coming into Hanover from Walkerton sees dad’s face before anyone else. He knows a lot of people, but it feels a bit strange when my friends and I are driving with dad and there he is on the billboard. It feels like I’m driving with a celebrity. Dad’s clients really trust him to make sure they are insured so if they have an accident or a fire, they know they will be taken care of. Dad really cares about his clients and I think that is what makes him so good at his profession. No matter how busy dad gets he always finds time for me.

Il a un travail très intéressant. Il vend des assurances pour le compte de « Secure Insurance Solutions. » Mon père a beaucoup d’avantages à son travail. Il a un emploi du temps flexible, il part travailler vers 9.00 heures, et s’il n’est pas trop occupé, il est de retour vers 17.00. Ce qui a de négatif, c’est qu’il reçoit des coups de téléphone à la maison et fixe des rendez-vous le soir afin de rendre visite à ses clients. Il y a un panneau d’affichage devant le bureau de mon père avec sa photo dessus. Tout les gens qui vont de Hanovre à Walkerton voient son image avant toutes celles des autres. Il connaît beaucoup de monde, mais je me sens mal à l’aise, lorsque mes amis et moi sommes en voiture avec mon père et qu’on le voit sur le panneau d’affichage. J’ai l’impression d’être avec une célébrité. Les clients de mon père lui font confiance en ce qui concerne leur assurance. Donc, s’ils ont un accident ou subissent un incendie, ils savent que mon père les prendra en charge. Il se fait vraiment du soucis pour ses clients, et il pense que c’est pour cela qu’il excelle dans son travail. Peu importe que mon père soit occupé, il a toujours du temps à me consacrer.
