Dans le cas qui nous occupe:
company = business = l'entreprise
facility = atelier

Je te suggère donc:
"Il est propriétaire de l'entreprise, un atelier de mécanique automobile."
ou:
"Il est propriétaire de la compagnie, une entreprise de mécanique automobile."

ou, si tu y tiens vraiment:
2Il est propriétaire de la compagnie, dont les affaires sont celles d'un atelier de mécanique automobile."

Note: au Canada, "auto repair facility" = garage, mais je ne l'emploierais pas ici.

To have a more elegant sentence you can cut away "and the business is an" when translating into French.

Otherwise if you wish to keep it, you have:
