Explanation: Community and Mental Health services in English here community refers to a certain type of health services offered in the context of psychiatric and menatl health services. Their characterisic is to be offered in the immediate local environment of those suffering from mental illnesses (and/or their family) and to AVOID hospital admission or institutionalisation of any kind (not to "put away" people anymore).
In France, the term is translated into French by "Psychiatrie Communautaire " or sometimes «psychiatrie de secteur»..."
There are 4,370 references on Google for psychiatrie communautaire and 10,800 references for psychiatrie de secteur.
Personally and being a health economist also and maybe because I worked on the subject of transferring psychiatric care from hospital care to community care (how to finance it) I prefer "psychiatrie communautaire" a term that French journalists also seem to prefer.
Nevertheless, it seems psychiatrie de secteur is more en vogue.
