Tabagisme is too strong a word in this context. It means addiction and nothing tells us from the context that it is about abuse of tobacco.

For example, if this would be part of a article discussion smoking habits in general, even accoutumance is too strong.

"Habitudes des fumeurs" or "préférence des fumeurs" would fit better.

J'aime bien la solution acceptée, mais, à part cela, dans l'intérêt de poursuivre l'objectif de bâtir un glossaire ProZ, il me semble important de d'introduire une terminologie a-contextuelle. Donc, pour une traduction directe de "smoking habit," Termium propose deux expressions. L'emploi des deux semble se limiter au français du Canada, selon ce que j'ai pu trouver sur Google.
