Caractéristique d'un produit pour pneu :

No, I think you'll find it means the number of times you can retread a tyre (= casing) before you have to throw it away.

And I'm not sure if they mean 'rechaper' (= remould in UK), or actually recutting the treads, as I believe is practised in some places, particularly for industrial tyres --- might make more sense in your context?

Explanation:
