paramètres de lieu (nationaux) Explanation: paramètres de lieu is the definition given by grandictionnaire for input locales i added "nationaux" because of the following definition (grandictionnaire) ibm ansi-c sttle locale function which changes the formatting convention for date,time,monetary data for "each country" so it's not "régionaux" at all for locales! hope it helps |

These inputs locales define the keyboard layout and the way Windows applications process certain information. For example, if you select the input locale Dutch, then dates will be displayed as dd-mm-yyyy rather than mm/dd/yy, and currency items (say in Excel) will be displayed in guilders.
