Other / fixation | | English term or phrase: nail cap | Over 60 different types of fixing types were tested: nails, staples, screws, adhesives, tapes, etc. Tests included pull (weights added), peel (pressure for vertical stress) and wall grip.
In all tests a simple nail, 1.5+ inches combined with a nail cap provided more durable grip than any other mechanism.
The nail cap outperformed all other caps.
