In a summary of a couple's discipline techniques and manner of raising children:
"Whatever the interactions with their children, the parents feel it is important to be consistent."

(I don't think this is quite the same meaning as someone who is "ordonné" or "rationnel"; but rather, someone who responds in a similar manner in each circumstance.)
