La mesure spot ne s'effectue que sur une toute petite partie de l'image, ce qui permet d'exposer correctement la partie de l'image que l'on désire mettre en valeur, indépendamment de la luminosité du reste de l'image. L'exemple le plus classique est le personnage sur fond noir (spectacle) : si la cellule effectue une mesure sur la totalité de l'image le sujet sera fortement surexposé car l'exposition est calculée pour le fond, majoritaire. La mesure sélective permet de viser le visage et de régler l'exposition sur celui-ci |
