Ceci n'est pas une demande professionnelle. Notre chorale chante cette chanson et j'essaie de la traduire pour que tout le monde puisse en comprendre le sens. J'ai déjà été bien aidé grâce aux explications quant à la partie "and you, for ill, and I ..." et peut-être pourra-t-on encore m'éclairer pour ceci.
Je ne comprends que vaguement la phrase "Back from the fields of play" (surtout entre les deux autres phrases). Evidemment, c'est de la poésie... Mais, si jamais quelqu'un a une idée ! Merci d'avance. |

Les arbres ne sont plus là, ni le chemin de retour des champs où nous avons fait l'amour et notre histoire d'amour est finie - ils ont duré aussi longtemps qu'ils pouvaient. Nous n'irons plus nous promener dans les bois. |

| Grading comment Doublement merci ! Vu la façon dont le texte est chanté, je n'avais pas fait le lien "the way back from" (pourtant évident après-coup). D'où mon incompréhension !
