English term or phrase: brushed off
...as in "to brush off someone"...I felt brushed off, ignored, as though I were not important.
The person feels more hurt than angry, I think, but there is some anger felt as well.
I'm uninspired. Ideas? Merci d'avance.

this is colloquial language - not very strong - usually describing a temporary state; the same person may be nice to you later

brush off

Dismiss or rebuff, as in Roberta brushed off the poor reviews with a shrug, or
You can't brush off a boyfriend and expect him to do you a favor. This expression, transferring sweeping off crumbs to a curt dismissal, was first recorded about 1820. However, it became common usage only in the 1930s. Also see give someone the air (brush off).

Mis à l'ecart.

Explanation:
"Etre mis à l'écart", on garde cette notion d'isolement, de rejet, de peine ,d'incompréhension. D'ailleur si l'on se penche sur le terme anglais " brushed off" on retrouve cette idée "d'envoyer au loin" " de balayer" ." brushed off from dust".
