in specifications of a printer's user guide : "Vacuum belt media drive for easy loading and accurate media feeding".
in the glossary included I found "media drive belt" : courroie d'entraînement de support, but I do not understand the meaning of vacuum, could it be entraînement de la courroie de support par aspiration ? thanks in advance.

(entraînement du support) par courroie aspirante. Je pense que la courroie est percée et que le papier/support y est maintenu par aspiration (à travers la courroie transporteuse). Pour autant que media drive signifie entraînement du support. Tout cela me paraît très lourd pour une imprimante.

J'ai vu qu'il s'agit d'une imprimante UV grand format. Il est donc bien question d'une bande de transport aspirante qui entraîne le ou les supports dans les zones d'impression (Vacuum Belt Feed). Courroie d'entraînement peut effectivement prêter à confusion. "Media" désigne bien le support d'impression.
