J'ai peur de faire une erreur ici. A l'origine, j'avais traduit par 'couchage', pensant au papier couché.
Mais il s'agit d'encre ici, et non de papier...

Pas sûr qu'on puisse se permettre de préciser "techniques", cependant, donc on peut préférer "vernis simples ou spéciaux", "vernis de toute(s) sorte(s)/de tout(tous) type(s)" ou bien tout simplement "vernis".

PS : Mais bien entendu, si le terme "enduit" proposé par FX est confirmé par d'autres sources (par exemple un site spécialisé uniquement en français), il est préférable. Ma proposition n'est là que pour apporter de l'eau au moulin.
