No. Emotionality is less about whether a person reflects than about the focus of the reflection.

En fait, il s'agit de réfléchir au sens renvoyer un reflet. Si l'on utilise le terme français "réfléchir", le sens devient ambigu. L'avantage de "renvoyer", c'est qu'il fait apparaitre l'autre, l'objet au sens psycho du terme.
